Julio Bashmore is a Bristolian Bass Boy.His Battle For Middle You from last year is probably already familiar to you, but it is absolutely worth taking a closer his other releases.
This particular track on Broadwalk Records, has been championed by the likes of Gilles Peterson who delighted a rather sodden crowd at the recent Eurostar Traction Festival by dropping it during a downpour getting everyone swinging umbrellas and dancing in the rain.
The festival was part of London’s ramp up to the Olympics. that starts next week.
