De La Soul’s A Rollerskating Jam Named Saturdays and Mighty Mouse’s revised edit of Prince’s Controversy get things moving early. Art Of Tones brings the Afrobeat flavour to Da Lata’s This Is Not Your Job, before Claptone’s remix of Gregory Porter’s Liquid Spirit supplies that unmistakable piano hook.
Coflo runs like a thread through the middle, with his own Little Things and his remix of Louie Vega’s How He Workssitting either side of Emmanuel Jal’s Kuar, reworked by FNX Omar. Percussion, soulful vocals and plenty to get your feet into.
