I don’t think this monolith of a legend has had a specific song mentioned before on the site and to be completely honest, that is shockingly poor.
A huge influence for many, and how good was the film Purple Rain? Musical fan I ain’t but if you are going to act, write & perform in a movie THIS is exactly how you should do it. Yeah the story line is flimsy, the acting a little hammy, but who gives a shit when this little purple fella does his stuff?
