Summer doesn’t really arrive so much as accumulate. One quiet pint, then a field, then somehow it’s 2am on a Saturday in July and you’ve lost a shoe.
Carnivalism’s 2026 run follows a similar logic. No tour, no campaign — just a run of dates spread across festivals, one-offs, and a couple of longer stays. The kind of calendar that reads better in September than it does now.
May is nuts. It kicks off at Shindig Festival on the 23rd May, where Matt joins Kris McReynolds for a back-to-back. KrisDoss (of Vinyl Gathering) came through for Winter Warmers on Twitch last year — proper kindred spirits on the Breakbeat front — so the Sunday showcase in the Global Funk Family lounge should be in good hands.
Four days later, on the 27th May, Matt’s at the Wiltshire Music Centre for a GAME movie screening, soundtracking the early 90s before and after the film. Then straight into the BOA Live Music Festival on the 29th, where Matt and Dom open proceedings at The Shoes with All Night Long — five hours, no support act required.
Mid-June sees the first edition of Field Trip, a new boutique mini-festival from the Vinyl Gathering Collective. It’s small, it’s for vinyl people, and it runs across the 13th and 14th. Drop us an email if you want details.
On the 11th July there’s a Secret Festival. That’s genuinely all we’re saying. You’ll either be there or you won’t.
Then the big one… Carnivalism takes over The Shoes for three days from the 24th to 26th July. Matt, Dom, friends, and a Saturday headline guest we’ll be announcing very shortly. Three days at a venue that suits us. We’re massively looking forward to it.
All events are on the listings page. Eyes peeled.
